Lead Quality Assurance Programs to measure the probability of failures based upon opportunities for defects and the production and supply levels for the company manufactured hardware. Manage data collection and analysis at suppliers, internal and field issues.
Recommend and implement enhancements to the quality system that result in improved corporate quality performance, increased customer satisfaction and support quality value engineering initiatives.
Lead Continuous Process Improvement activities throughout the organization. Manage creation of action plans within those groups to correct the issues, follow up, and track the identification of corrective actions and lessons learned.
Manage ISO 9001 compliance for the business. Oversee the internal and external audit programs. Communicate and action non-conformances, findings, and observations with the responsible organizations.
Lead Supplier Development Program to ensure right Quality, right time, and right price parts through focused continuous improvement efforts, which include visiting suppliers for audits.
Coordinate communication of quality issues across all areas of the company
Stay cognizant of current and future trends in Quality and Process Improvement in the industry and adapt to the company as necessary.
Conduct and organize training of employees on ISO 9001, statistical techniques, problem solving, and quality awareness.
Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field
Five or more years’ experience as a Quality Engineer or equivalent
Proven teamwork and leadership ability
Desired: ASQ certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, and ISO-9001 Lead Auditor
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Must have a sound understanding of statistics.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, MRP platforms, and statistical software.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to read, speak, and write in English required. Foreign language skills a plus.
