DEVEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
The Non-Profit Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role with the Camden County Council on Economic Opportunity, Inc. in supporting the fundraising and donor engagement efforts of the organization. This position ensures the successful execution of development initiatives, manages donor relationships, and provides administrative support to achieve the organization's mission. Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics for donor events, including scheduling, invitations, and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain fundraising materials such as brochures, proposals, and donor impact reports.
- Donor Relations:
- Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM/database, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Acknowledge donations promptly through letters, emails, or phone calls.
- Build and nurture relationships with donors, responding to inquiries and providing updates on organizational activities.
- Grant and Proposal Management:
- Research grant opportunities and prepare grant applications in collaboration with leadership.
- Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and submissions.
- Maintain organized files for grant-related correspondence and documentation.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Track fundraising progress and prepare regular reports for leadership and board members.
- Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting related to development activities.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments to align development efforts with organizational goals.
- Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities.
- Develop communication strategies to engage donors and stakeholders, including newsletters and social media content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and fundraising tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
