Job DescriptionThe NAE Gospel Beauty & Breadth Project Director is an exempt professional full-time position. The Project Director works collaboratively with all NAE staff to help evangelicals foster thriving communities and navigate complexity with biblical clarity.The Project Director will guide the implementation of the NAE’s newly established Gospel Beauty & Breadth Project, a multifaceted endeavor to draw women and men into transformational encounters with God and evangelical Christian faith through stories of hope, hospitality, and healing.Qualifications Personal and mature evangelical faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and LordAgreement to and affirmation of the NAE Statement of Faith and the NAE’s public policy document, “ For the Health of the Nation : An Evangelical Call to Civic Responsibility ”Regular attendance at an evangelical churchFamiliarity with and relationships in the evangelical communityMinimum of four years of professional experience (ministry or otherwise)Baccalaureate degree required, master’s degree preferredAbility to lead others to achieve project goalsSelf-starter and ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong relational and interpersonal skillsCareful attention to detailExperience with storytelling mediumsWillingness to work as part of a team and flexibility to adjust to the needs of a growing organizationCapability and experience to fulfill responsibilities listed belowResponsibilities Leads the project team in planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation of NAE efforts to draw women and men into transformational encounters with God and evangelical Christian faith through stories of hope, hospitality, and healingWorks with NAE staff and partners to create and disseminate resources, convene gatherings, create experiences, develop programs, and utilize various communication mediums to tell transformative storiesServes as liaison with audience analysis research partnersWrites and speaks in support of the work of the Gospel Beauty & Breadth ProjectCarefully and intentionally builds relationships across the evangelical spectrumCreates reports for NAE leadership and project fundersTravels for project implementation, connection, and relationship buildingOther responsibilities as assignedRelationships The Project Director reports to the Vice President & COOThe Project Director supervises other Gospel Beauty & Breadth project staffThe Project Director collaborates with the NAE staff teamThe NAE is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
