Position: Microsoft Power Platform Consultant (Contract Basis)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Consultant with a strong focus on Power Apps development. The ideal candidate will work with our team on a contract basis to design, develop, and deploy Power Apps solutions tailored to our business needs. The role may also include integrating solutions across the Power Platform suite, including Power Automate and Power BI, as well as providing training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Power Apps and other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Design and develop custom applications, forms, workflows, and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365) and third-party systems.
- Implement data modeling and database design using Dataverse, SQL, or other data sources.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing Power Apps solutions.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users.
- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in performance, security, and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
- Proficiency with other Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, or other database platforms.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
- Basic coding skills in Power Fx, JavaScript, or other relevant languages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM and its integration with Power Apps.
- Experience implementing Power Platform governance and security best practices.
- Familiarity with Azure services, APIs, and custom connectors.
- Certification in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Platform App Maker, Developer).
