Job Title: Program Coordinator
Reports To: Vice President, Workforce Development
Job Summary: The Program Coordinator is responsible to assist with the implementation of workforce development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning, including development of materials, documents and reports required for program management and success.
- Maintain databases to record participation, activities and training.
- Organize and oversee events, presenters, and meetings related to career exploration and training programs, managing all aspects of planning, including announcements, registration, venue coordination, catering, meeting materials, and presentation logistics.
- Serve as a primary point of contact, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including board members, students, parents, and employers.
- Support marketing efforts for program activities.
- Update and maintain the program’s webpages and social media accounts.
- Assist leadership in implementing program activities.
- Provide other support and assistance with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficient in computer skills, with expertise in database management and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communications skills.
- Ability to multitask and keep multiple projects continuing, simultaneously.
- Ability to complete independently.
- Interest in student career exploration activities.
