CCEM employs Emergency Management and Business Continuity consulting professionals and we are always interested in hearing from candidates who may be a great fit with our business and our values. CCEM’s team works collaboratively to deliver customized, innovative and comprehensive emergency and continuity management solutions to CCEM’s clients in public and private sector industries. We work with clients in various jurisdictions and authorities, and we provide advice and guidance, perform reviews and assessments of programs, and develop and facilitate training, table-top, functional and full-scale exercises. Clients rely on us for our expertise, and know that we will build high quality, customized solutions that meet their needs.
What you'll bring
CCEM team members have a wide variety of talents but here are some of the core skills and abilities that we are always looking for:
- Formal education in Emergency Management, Business Continuity or another closely related field
- Knowledge of emergency management standards and best practices (i.e. CSA Z1600, ISO 22301, BCEMS, ICS, etc.) and industry regulations (i.e. Transport Canada, Environment Canada, CER, AER, OGC, IMDG, etc.) locally, provincially, nationally and internationally
- Understanding of project management principles with a demonstrated ability to manage work to meet deadlines and manage costs
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, think critically, make recommendations
- Ability to engage collaboratively and effectively with internal and external teams, clients and other associated stakeholders
- Proficient and efficient using all Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint) and Adobe suite
- Strong verbal and written communication in English, including excellent writing skills, grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with engaged and highly motivated clients
- Consistently demonstrates CCEM values: Excellence, Enhancement, Customer Focus and Care
- Willing and able to provide a current Criminal Record check and COVID vaccination status
