Key Responsibilities:
- Energetic/Mechanical assembly
- Low frequency of heavy lifting (maximum weight 25lbs)
- Ability to perform repetitive work
- Must be dependable/punctual
- Ability to follow written work instructions
- Must meet established production goals
- Must meet Valor attendance requirements
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Must meet expected throughput of production goals
- Provide Level I quality mentoring
- Maintain 99% throughput
- Maintain 4 or fewer reject tags per year
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
- High frequency of gripping/reaching
- Manual dexterity is highly necessary
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
- Must have good-eye hand coordination
- Handling of small components or assemblies
- Must promptly communicate assembly problems/challenges to supervisor
- Ability to operate 6 different parts on 2 -3 different lines
- Train / qualify on basic gages and visual criteria for assigned product line

This position requires use of information and data which is subject to US Export Regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. 120 et seq., and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. 730 et seq. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S Government.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
- Must pass initial and subsequent background checks to include maintaining eligibility according to federal requirements and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
- Must pass preemployment and subsequent drug and alcohol screenings
- Comply with internal non-disclosure agreement requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
- Basic use of math skills (addition, subtraction, and decimal)
- Basic computer literacy
- 3 or more years of experience in Energetics Production
Physical Requirements:
- RARE (less than 10%): Crawling, handling chemicals, climbing stairs and ladder, wearing a respirator, lifting over 40 lbs.
- OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): Stretching arms above head, lifting over 15 lbs. to 30 lbs.
- FREQUENT (up to 66%): Bending, walking, pushing, transport, range-of-motion, reaching, twisting, sweeping, balancing, walking on uneven surfaces, gripping, lifting to 15 lbs., able to withstand loud noise.
- CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): Repetitive motion, reading, standing, sitting, seeing, seeing distant, depth-perception, color vision, speaking clearly, hearing-speech-range, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, ability to withstand varying temperatures, attention to fine detail.
- VISION: Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Near vision includes clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less to work with small objects or read small/fine print, including use of computers.
This position will remain open through April 30, 2025. A current employee is expected to be promoted into this role.
