Data Engineering Co-Op

We are looking for a Data Engineering Co-op to work alongside our seasoned professionals and get in-depth, hands-on experience with real world projects. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding data engineering internship, we invite you to join our team this summer.
Qualifications For a Co-op:
- Must be enrolled in a related degree program for all 3 Co-op rotations: Fall 2025, Summer 2026, and Spring 2027
- The first and second rotation is full time where 3-4 class hours are allowed. The 3rd rotation is part- time while in school.
What You’ll Do
You’ll develop and manage enterprise data platforms, deployment pipelines, security and quality monitoring. Here’s what that’ll look like:
- Working under the direction of senior data engineers and assist with projects, and process improvements.
- Developing automation tools for setting up and managing infrastructure and procedures across all environments.
- Writing documentation for new development, procedures or test plans as needed.
- Helping create and follow best practices, security and engineering standards.
- Building tools and pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery of software to all environments.
- Automating the processes of code packaging, code deployment and configuration management processes across all environments.
- Soliciting feedback from delivery and operations teams on integration and delivery challenges and collaborating with them to find opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data monitoring and measurement systems.
- Monitoring system and service performance in all environments and reporting to the relevant platform SMEs.

Who You Are
You are passionate about technology, reverse engineering and writing code to create solutions and fix real-world problems. You also:
- Are currently a college student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, including classes related to software development, systems, networking and security.
- Have experience with Windows and Linux systems, containers and databases.
- Have experience writing code and scripts in at least one high-level programming language.
- Have experience with source code, orchestration and configuration management tools.
- Are familiar with public cloud architecture and technologies (preferably AWS) and with Agile concepts and processes (Scrum and Kanban).
- Have an interest in gathering data and measuring service reliability and data quality.
- Are currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
