The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $38,199.96.Job Description

What You’ll Do
You’ll use your developed skills in leadership, planning, communication and people management to help your inside sales and retention teams meet ambitious sales goals, while collaborating with other departments for success. Here’s a closer look at your responsibilities:
- Developing a professional sales culture by hiring and building a sales team.
- Leading a team to meet (or exceed) monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Providing ongoing coaching to inside sales and retention sellers, fostering a supportive team environment and continuous learning to meet revenue goals.
- Serving as a subject matter expert and handling issues escalated by team members.
- Setting sales goals, defining territory structures and assigning accounts to representatives
- Accurately forecasting sales for purposes of strategic planning.
- Communicating customer concerns, sales opportunities and related issues within the sales team.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Collaborating with other internal partners to ensure high quality customer service.
- Preparing regular expense reports while meeting corporate revenue goals and maximizing product margin.
- Attending job-related training and remains current on Cox’s products and offerings.
Who You Are
You’re a skilled relationship builder who demonstrates business acumen. An adaptable and communicative leader, you know how to promote accountability to work effectively with teams throughout an organization. Here’s what else you bring to the table:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year experience in a related field; or 10 years’ experience in a related field
- 1 year of experience in management or lead role.
- Previous experience in business-to-business consultative sales.
- Experience using Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Experience in a management role with leading sales results.
- Call center sales supervisory or management experience
- Experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge of the local market.
