Master Electrician

Job Description
As a Journeyman Electrician with CCI Industrial Services LLC, you will be responsible for planning, installing, and repairing electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment. Your work will involve ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, meeting local electrical codes, and adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan new or modified electrical installations to minimize waste and ensure accessibility for future maintenance.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical components, including wiring and equipment.
• Terminate wiring to lighting fixtures and power sources, and install control and distribution apparatus.
• Observe installed equipment and systems to detect potential hazards and make necessary adjustments.
• Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding systems.
• Test circuit continuity using testing instruments such as ohmmeters, toners, and oscilloscopes.
• Participate in meetings, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, high or precarious places, and risk of electrical shock. Hearing protection and safety eyewear are required in most working situations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; UPS and battery experience preferred.
• National Safety Training Center (NSTC) certification.
• Alaska Electrical Journeyman Fitness Card or reciprocal fitness card from another state.
• Minimum 5 years related experience; medium voltage experience with knowledge of power delivery systems required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
