The Overhaul Material Handling Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe receipt, inspection, logging, tagging, and staging of materials. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure seamless logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to regulations and protocols
• Process hazardous materials with proper certification
• Load and unload trucks and vans efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory records through physical and electronic means
• Coordinate transportation and delivery of materials to end-users
• Operate various forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily procurement goals
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license
• Certification in 49 CFR and IACO/IATA standards
• Basic mathematical and mechanical skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Work Environment:
The Overhaul Material Handling Technician will be exposed to varying weather conditions and may work outdoors in extreme temperatures. They must also be able to navigate moving machinery and equipment while maintaining a high level of situational awareness.
