Building Maintenance-Swing Shift

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as necessary.

· Sweeping/mopping floors, operating scrap compactor, emptying trash containers, running floor scrubber, collecting/compacting cardboard, etc.

· Order/distribute supplies.

· Coordinate waste removal (roll-off).

· Perform all related building maintenance duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

· Maintain acceptable housekeeping and safety standards.

DEVELOPMENTAL SKILLS

To successfully perform this job, an individual must obtain certain skills, which will allow him/her to enhance the necessary work performance about the essential duties and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

· Ability to work neatly in housekeeping.

· Ability to work without supervision.

· Ability to stand and lift.

· Qualified forklift operator (previous experience required)

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED equivalence.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet humid, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and extreme heat.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to loud depending on the work location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.86 per hour

Expected hours: 56 – 68 per week
