Job Overview
We are currently seeking skilled Finishing Operators to join our 2nd shift team. The Finishing Operator is responsible for operating rewind and finishing equipment to inspect, slit and finish labels to customer specifications. Assists Press Operators to produce quality labels in accordance with safety, quality, efficiency standards, and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is a plus but not required.

Assists Press Operators to produce quality labels in accordance with safety, quality, efficiency standards, and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Read customer order specifications, sets up rewind and finishing equipment to finish product and pack for shipment to customers.
- Works with Operators and Quality to ensure the manufacture of quality labels.
- Ensure core tags and rewind position are as required by order. Ensure proper splice.
- Apply knowledge to check orders and ensure that all press work meets quality and customer requirements.
- Packs product according to specifications.
- Complete reports and other documentation as needed for quality and productivity standards.
- Communicate any deviations with press operator or operations manager.
- Work as a team to ensure production schedule is followed and quality checks are completed on a regular basis.
- Follow safety policies and procedures, comply with cGMP standards, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and job jackets.
- Requires standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
