Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping and Inventory Control Professional to join our team in Strongsville, OH. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with a 'Safety First' mindset
- Printing Inventory Cycle Counts sheets
- Scheduling trucks through UTS, Fed Ex, UPS, and other LTL carriers systems
- Verifying and keeping accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Collaborating closely with Customer Service, Production, and Scheduling teams
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
- Shipping: printing pre-shippers, emailing pick up information if needed per shipping comments, updating customer portals – ASN's, labels, and setting up the shipment for all ASN customers, generating shipping documentation to include Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Export documents, and commercial invoices
- Inventory Control: conducting cycle counts for all inventory types, investigating and reconciling Inventory discrepancies, working with IPR and Production Supervisors to resolve differences between production reporting quantities and actual quantities moved to Finished Goods, maintaining inventory control records for Warehouse and ensuring accuracy and completeness of all inventory items and Finished Goods
