Job Summary :
Receives, stores, and distributes all incoming materials within establishment by performing the following duties. Also cross-trains to learn the Shipping responsibilities to back-up as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned.Demonstrates the behaviors of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism towards supervisors and co-workers, and self-directed task completion.Maintains clean work area.Must comply with all departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), Employee Handbook Policies, including attendance, and all safety rules and standards.Works normal shift hours and overtime as required.Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers in all departments to maximize production efficiencies as needed.Trains co-workers and new hires to set up, operate and use equipment.Maintains all equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning.Verifies and maintains records, such as daily Forklift Inspections, and Inventory.Stores and organizes materials or items in racks or on shelves, according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code.Marks materials with identifying information using tags generated from the AS400 system.Reads production schedule to determine which jobs are scheduled for the day; issues appropriate stock requisition for the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Conveys materials and items between receiving, warehouse, production areas or to other designated areas.Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.Required Skills / Abilities :

High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements :
Regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear.
Frequently lift and / or carry up to 50 pounds and push / pull up to 125 pounds.
Requires constant movement and bending.
Work Environment :
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
