Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer orders and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Utilize SAP systems for tracking production progress and inventory management.
- Analyze production data to forecast demand and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
- Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
