POSITION: Provider Support (CMA/LPN)
DEPARTMENT: Clinic
LOCATION: Primarily Marshall Clinic location
HOURS: 64 hours per pay period/ Non-Exempt
WAGE RANGE: $21.05 - $29.57 Hourly
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Room patients, assist provider with procedures and treatments, complete a variety of tasks including but not limited to injections, phone communication, patient education, vital signs, chart documentation, quality improvement initiatives and supply management.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program. Must be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license.
SKILL(S):
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Good organizational skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Good time management skills.
- Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous clinic nursing experience preferred.
- Experience working with a Midwife preferred.
- Lactation services experience preferred.
