POSITION: Ultrasound Technician

DEPARTMENT: Imaging

HOURS: 0.6-0.8 FTE (48-60 hours per pay period)

Day shift, no weekends or holidays.

HOURLY WAGES: $35.59 - $53.11

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks in Diagnostic Ultrasound utilizing high frequency sound waves to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Work requires a two (2) year degree and successful completion of an approved one (1) year program in ultrasound technology. Applicants must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and also be a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

SKILL(S):
Perform all basic Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdomen, vascular, breast, and surgical guidance, etc.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred but new grads are welcome to apply.
