Description :
At Compass Controls Manufacturing, the Material Handler is responsible for the serialization of products (PCAs), order allocations, picking and shipping processes. The main job duties will be supporting shipping and receiving and warehousing functions; however, within the small team, there is a heavy focus on cross training to support all aspects of the production and manufacturing of Printed Circuit Boards as well.
Work Schedule
Normal working hours are typically preferred at 8am - 4 : 30pm Monday - Friday; unless otherwise discussed and / or established by the manager or seasonal schedule changes. From time to time additional hours may be required, as needed.
Requirements :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack PCAs for shipping following standard processes.
- Ensuring all necessary shipping documents are accurately completed.
- Review packing slip for shipping instructions to create shipment electonically with designated carrier.
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders or invoices.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate reorder needs to management.
- Secondary responsibilities may include : Tranducer Assembly, QA Assembly Inspection, and / or PCA Washing.
Other Duties
Perform other job duties as assigned by Management.
Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; experience within warehouse operations.
Experience within electronics manufacturing preferred.
