Gate Hosts are responsible for assisting residents, guests, and contractors with access to the community property. They are on the front-lines of greeting homeowners and guests with a warm and professional demeanor.

This destination-style, active adult master-planned community is creating an unrivaled place with everything you want and need to fill the pages of your vibrant story. Enjoy early morning tee times on our links-style golf course or a sunset dinner cruise. Discover the seasonal harvest at our community garden. Have a ball with a round of bocce ball, tennis or pickleball. Toss in some fun at the horseshoe pits or take a dip in the resort-style pool. Work out at the fitness center or head out on the trails. The amenity center is where you will meet up with neighbors to enjoy daily events and activities inspired by our Live Well pillars putting the focus on happy, healthy, and harmonious.
What you’ll accomplish:
- Assisting residents, club members, new home builders, vendors, service providers, and approved guests gain access to the community
- Maintaining accurate guest list for residents and addressing updates as needed
- Identifying community resource providers, ie; utility / delivery services and giving appropriate access
- Supporting adherence to construction admittance guidelines, and verifying valid entry codes for contractors and construction personnel
- Logging all vehicles entering the premises
- Maintaining contact with appropriate parties to manage events requiring property access and delivery of after-hours codes when necessary
- Observing surveillance cameras throughout shift for signs of gate failure, unauthorized entry, or incidents occurring at entry / exit points
- Monitoring and controlling traffic flow at the construction gate and during special events
- Providing directions to visitors
- Completing all necessary documentation and performing administrative tasks as needed
- Providing superior customer service at all times
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of six months experience in a customer service environment
- Flexibilty to work non-traditional business hours, including early mornings and evenings
- Must possess a high degree of interpersonal and communications skills
- Capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities with the ability to defuse tense situations
- Possess a high level of initiative and good judgment
- Honesty and integrity
- Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn new tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify People Operations immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
- Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
- Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
- Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
