What You’ll Accomplish
- Assisting the Lifestyle Director in leading activities, games, crafts and special events throughout the community
- Serving as reservation clerk for onsite amenities including kayaks, non-motorized watercraft, paddleboards, and toys
- Facilitating the distribution of equipment and games
- Organizing set up of pool chairs, loungers, and umbrellas
- Tactfully enforcing association policies and procedures while providing the highest level of customer care
- Doing laundry, folding pool towels and ensuring a clean and inviting environment for guests
- Preparing sites for upcoming reservations
- Setting up and hosting weekly special activities
- Resolving customer service concerns in a professional and positive manner
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service with experience in the aquatics, recreation or hospitality industry
- Energy, a great attitude and strong work ethic
- Effective communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to attend meetings and community events as scheduled
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
- Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
- Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
- Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
