Summary:The Multi-Line Claim Consultant is responsible for the investigation and adjustment of assigned multi-line claims while ensuring adherence to corporate claim standards and client expectations. This role offers the opportunity for advanced training and potential promotion to senior-level claim positions. The Multi-Line Claim Consultant plays a critical role in delivering quality claim services and maintaining client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line claims in compliance with claim handling standards and state laws.
  • Establish reserves and recommend changes within assigned authority levels.
  • Review and approve medical, legal, and damage estimates; negotiate disputed invoices.
  • Authorize payments using claim payment programs within established guidelines.
  • Negotiate claim settlements in alignment with corporate standards, client instructions, and state regulations.
  • Supervise and refer claims to outside vendors as needed (e.g., legal, surveillance, case management).
  • Monitor subrogation claims and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare detailed claim reports, including status updates, payments, and reserves.
  • Maintain timely communication with clients, claimants, and other relevant parties.
  • Participate in hearings, mediations, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of auto claim adjusting experience required.
  • Adjuster’s license required (based on jurisdiction).
  • Previous TPA experience is helpful.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

  • Remote or hybrid schedule available depending on location.
  • Reliable attendance during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm).
