Position Title: Multi-Line Claim Representative I

Location: Hybrid - Scottsdale, AZ

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000

About the Role:

 

We are seeking a Multi-Line Claim Representative I to manage a dedicated national account, handling claims across all jurisdictions except Nebraska, South Dakota, and Hawaii. This role requires daily in-office attendance during the initial training period (up to 6 months), transitioning to a hybrid schedule with mandatory in-office attendance one day per month for meetings, and additional days as needed for training or meetings. Please note, hybrid work is a privilege that can be revoked based on performance or attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Review medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to determine if they are reasonable and related to ongoing claims; negotiate disputed bills as necessary.
  • Authorize and make payment of liability claims within settlement authority and industry standards.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys in accordance with client authorization.
  • Assist in the selection and supervision of defense attorneys.
  • Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
  • Prepare reports detailing claims, payments, and reserves.
  • Provide reports and monitor files as required by excess insurers.
  • Ensure compliance with service commitments established by the team.
  • Deliver quality claim service to clients.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Home state adjuster's license.
    • 2 years liability claim experience or insurance related experience is required or equivalent education is required. 

  • Preferred:
    • A few years of experience with knowledge in total loss and subrogation.

Performance Measurement: Performance will be evaluated through audits, production metrics, claim reviews, and performance evaluations.
