Introduction to Role:
We are looking for a data-driven and strategic-minded Sales Insights Expert to join our Sales Operations team, reporting to the Sales Insights Manager. In this role, you will support the central sales organization by providing key insights and data-driven recommendations. You will be responsible for tracking and improving pricing strategies across various countries and business segments while maintaining and developing Business Intelligence tools to enhance commercial reviews.
Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Analytics:
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI, integrating data from Salesforce (CRM), SAP (ERP), and HFM (consolidation tool).
Conduct sales performance analysis across business segments, countries, and key accounts.
Provide data-driven insights to help sales leadership define action plans for performance improvement.
Sales Process Optimization:
Analyze the sales process lifecycle from opportunity qualification to deal closing.
Identify areas for improvement and work with sales leadership to implement best practices that enhance sales efficiency.
Ensure smooth collaboration across local and central sales entities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a key business partner to sales teams, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
Work closely with finance, central sales teams, and local sales entities to align on strategies and drive commercial success.
Effectively communicate with sales professionals, understanding their needs and providing clear recommendations.
Comfortable working with distributed teams and handling remote collaboration.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in sales (back/ front office), sales operations/ analytics, FP&A
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and a quick learner.
- “Can do” attitude and ability to adapt to quickly to the changing internal & external context and priorities.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Salesforce, and strong Excel skills OR proven ability to quickly master new systems/ tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams and handling remote collaboration.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin/Chinese is a strong plus.
