What You’ll Accomplish And Experience
- Meet and maintain accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; and identifying system improvements.
- Creates and maintains implementation of appropriate accounting policies and best practices.
- Evaluate and analyze transactions for accounting implications and potential impact of proposed accounting standards.
- Responsible for daily accounting operations, including AP, check runs, asset management (including inventory and fixed assets), invoicing, and general ledger oversight and reviews.
- Review, analyze, and articulate root cause of issues and implement solutions including working to optimize the usage of current system toolsets.
- Prioritize and delegate resources and requests for the team.
- Communicate clear priorities, goals, responsibilities, and expectations for the team.
- Develop the team by providing training and development activities.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual performance discussions for each team member.
- Lead the process for month and year-end close.
- Sets clear and attainable goals for each member of the team.
- Takes actions through coaching and counseling to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
- Collect and provide information for audit inquiries.
- Oversee the posting and maintenance of general ledger accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members by making team members and their needs a primary focus.
- Respond professionally and courteously to telephone calls, emails, and tickets within the established response guidelines.
- Responsible for approving time and expenses in CCR systems by the designated deadline.
- Generate creative solutions and approaches to issues and organizational processes.
- Manage performance to achieve expected results.
- Exemplify and promote CCR values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills to meet SLAs and KPIs.

- Ability to work within a ticketing system, documenting all transactions appropriately.
- Effectively work within a team by developing, maintaining, and strengthening partnerships with others inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to exercise a high degree of good judgment and independence while evaluating emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 Office Products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power Automate)
- Advanced knowledge of accounting terminology and processes
- Experience leading AP month-end and year-end close
- Operational understanding of accounting software (Business Central preferred)
- Proficient use of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and other account reporting
