Summary:
CCS Group is looking for an experienced financial controller with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and strategy. This individual will ensure the company’s financial health by managing budget, forecasting, and financial reporting
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee and takes responsibility for all financial procedures and records.
- Conduct periodic audits of budget-to-actual comparisons.
- Maintains corporate checking accounts, invoices, and PO’s.
- Manage financial risk by identifying potential areas of concern, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial integrity and assets.
- Responsible for the various ledgers including cash disbursements, cash receipts, accounts payable, month-end payroll summary, accounts receivable summary, and journal entries to adjust the general ledger.
- Regularly evaluate alternative products, services, and processes, providing recommendations that align with the company's goals for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
- Generates monthly reports including accounts payable reconciliation, accounts receivable reconciliation, cash flow report, and balance sheet audits.
- Provides relevant financial information to the executive management team.
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Any additional duties assigned by Operations Director and CEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related
- field (preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly valued but not required.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance standards.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management or leadership role.
- High level of integrity and ethics in handling sensitive financial information.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
