Is seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Account Executive for our growing Columbia, MD based team.
Job Summary
Our ideal candidate must be a motivated, ambitious and a pure client hunter. This person will prospect, grow new business (wide open territories) and maintain key accounts with OUTSTANDING unlimited earnings potential and career growth.
Basic Requirements
- Generate sales for Audio Visual systems through developing and maintaining client relationships and expanding the company’s current client base.
- Call on established commercial and education accounts in the DMV area
- Qualify and developing new accounts
- Identify sales prospects and provide accurate forecasts and activity reports to management
- Analyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed
- Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s visual collaboration needs.
- Design audio visual systems to meet the customer’s needs and budgets
- Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable (GP).
- Prepare contracts and pricing strategies for targets accounts and submit all required documentation
- Maintain accurate forecasts and activity reports for Management
- Work with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
- Perform Site Surveys where needed

Skills and Abilities
- Ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end user customers
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Essential Duties
- 5 years direct commission sales experience preferred
- Experience selling Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, SMART etc.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, present and demonstrate audio-visual collaboration products and services to end user customers
- Excellent communication skills with customers both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to close business, securing orders under acceptable company terms and Margins
- A four-year degree is desirable or associate’s college degree
