Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable individual to work 4 hours at a facility in Clarence. The hours are 8:30am-12:30pm Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the facility. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently while ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct cleaning tasks in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide commercial cleaning services, including restroom sanitation, dusting, and waste disposal.
- Assist with porter duties by ensuring common areas are tidy and organized.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs to management.
- Support facilities maintenance efforts by performing minor repairs or upkeep tasks as required.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and safety protocols is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
