Responsibilities
- Assists in maintaining the perpetual balance inventory system by posting transactions from source documents
- Conducts transactions for inventory receipts, transfers, and returns
- Prepares and files or forwards supporting documentation for inventory transactions
- Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and location surveys
- Reviews inventory activity and recommends disposition of excess stock
- Participates in physical counts and reconciles physical counts with system records
- Researches inventory variances to determine and correct cause
- Maintains the inventory marking, labeling and location scheme for the facility
- Receives incoming stock, unloads trucks, and places stock in correct location
- Withdraws product from bulk storage and replenishes pick locations
- Performs general housekeepiong and keeps the distribution center clean, neat, safe and secure
- Demonstrates thoroughness with all work related activities
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
- Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

- High School diploma or equivalent, and one year inventory experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to carry out detailed multi-step written or oral instructions; ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to managers, supervisors, or other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Basic skills in the operation of a computer, computer printer, and standard Windows-based office software.
- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and other warehouse equipment .
