About the role
Job Description:COUNTRY Financial is seeking an Automation Test Lead, to join our Property & Casualty Operations team. In this role, you will oversee both manual and automated testing efforts for ongoing support and new initiatives, ensuring the delivery of new capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic plans for testing efforts.
• Create test estimates and define/build reusable testing assets for large and complex projects.
• Develop and implement test automation frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and support for the creation of complex tests.
• Advise on innovative testing products and solutions.
• Define and administer standard testing architecture methodologies, processes, and tools across all engagements.
• Improve quality practices across both functional and non-functional testing.
• Deliver complex test programs.
• Support the strategic direction of our Continuous Testing & Assurance Practice.
Automation Test Lead Experience:
• Ideally, 8 years of experience as a Test Lead.
• Proven experience in setting up test frameworks from scratch and enhancing existing frameworks for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Experience in defining and implementing test processes across multiple projects within an organization.
• Expertise in identifying appropriate techniques, tools, and guidelines for required tests and providing guidance on resource requirements for test efforts.
• Experience leading multiple release cycles.
• Strong understanding of technologies such as web servers, application servers, and databases.
• Proficient in scripting/programming and computer architecture.
• Experience with the full software project lifecycle (waterfall, agile, DevOps) and a technical appreciation of IT systems and solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven experience in managing test tools and environments to support test programs.
• Delivered test maturity assessments and successfully implemented improvement plans.
• Experience in building strong and effective relationships with clients.
• Demonstrable business development experience.

$112,800-$155,100The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
