The Program Director is responsible for the logistical operations and financial management of the organization. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and collaborative manager with proven experience in accounting, budgeting, contract and grant management, compliance, office administration, and program operations.CCSI is partnering with Rise-Up Rochester to hire a Program Director. This position is employed by CCSI and works on behalf of Rise Up Rochester. Rise Up Rochester, Incorporated is a nonprofit organization that empowers the community to establish and maintain a nonviolent culture and provides support to crime victims and their families. Rise Up Rochester’s ongoing work in violence prevention and intervention in the City of Rochester, NY seeks to achieve two overarching goals : (1) Decrease gun violence in Rochester; (2) Increase available safe housing capacity for victims of gun violence and their families.In this role, you will be : Providing direct supervision for the Administrative Assistant and Outreach TeamConducting staff training and team buildingFacilitating daily debriefs with the Outreach TeamCoordinating and supporting tabling at community eventsCoordinating team responses to community requests, including school interventions and community mediationProviding and coordinating crisis responseMonitoring expenses and spendingManaging grant revenue and agreementsPartnering with CCSI Financial Analyst to complete financial reportingPartnering with the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement to design and implement sustainability planPartnering with CCSI data consultants to develop and implement data tracking, storage, and reportingSupporting staff in collecting data as per protocolDeveloping and implementing business processes to improve operations, create efficiencies of work and cost effectiveness, and provide consistency in programming across the teamEnsuring compliance with CCSI’s policies and procedures manualPerforming other duties as requiredRequirements Associate degree in Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent job experience.5 years of experience in the field(s) of nonprofit operations, or similar.
