Looking for a Sr SQL DB Developer resource for a migration project from one data center to another. Someone who was a SQL Server DBA in the past, knows SQL Development and understands (Cloud / Data Center) Networking.We are seeking a skilled Cloud DBA and Data Migration Expert with 10 years of experience to manage and optimize cloud-based database services, specifically within AWS environments. The candidate will be responsible for database performance, security, replication, and data migration processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and high availability.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in SQL Server Developer roles.
- Extensive experience in Large Data sets migration projects from one data center to another
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) and cloud environments AWS EC2
- Proficiency with Any cloud Preferably AWS database services : Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Redshift.
- Expertise in database migration using tools like AWS DMS and scripting with AWS Lambda.
- Familiarity with database security measures, including encryption and access control.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery solutions, point-in-time recovery, and high-availability configurations.
- 5 years of experience in database administration and cloud-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present solutions effectively.
- Ability to provide on-call support and respond promptly to critical issues.
