Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Perform routine cleaning on machines.
• Carry out facilities maintenance duties, including minor repairs.
• Execute industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Assist with custodial duties during events or high-traffic periods.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and recycling where applicable.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management skills.
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
