- Process, verify, and post incoming payments accurately and efficiently.
- Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Communicate with customers regarding overdue invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly reports related to accounts receivable and aging reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer account issues.
- Verify project taxability status for accurate job setup and invoicing
- Collect and review employee time clocking data for accuracy.
- Enter and maintain timekeeping data into the payroll system. – Maybe something we want to add to the role
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in time records in collaboration with supervisors and employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations regarding timekeeping.
- Provide support for payroll preparation by delivering accurate time data.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in accounts receivable or bookkeeping roles. Experience with payroll or time clock systems is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills REQUIRED. “VISTA by VIEWPOINT” accounting software and “TRACK” timekeeping software is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies independently.
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and practices is required.
