Summary
CDAS is currently searching for our next Aviation Maintenance Technician Assistant. The successful candidate for this position will utilize their mechanical aptitude to help service CDAS' clientele quickly and efficiently. We are seeking candidates preferably with mechanical knowledge in the Aviation industry that are willing to grow and learn while performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of TPE 331 aircraft and Auxiliary Power Units (APU). CDAS is a locally-owned employer in the Aviation industry. Responsibilities
- Performs disassembly, cleaning and tagging of aviation type certificated parts, products, materials, and, equipment in accordance with all regulatory, and manufacturer recommended practices.
- Performs maintenance in accordance with guidelines set forth in the Repair Station/Maintenance Policy Manual and CDAS Operations Specifications

- Ensures compliance with all Federal and State/Provincial regulations
- Must be willing to travel as required, estimated at less than 10% travel
- Must be willing to attain FAA issued airframe and power plant license
- Turbine engine repair (TPE331 GTCP APU experience preferred)
- Experience maintaining/troubleshooting turbine powered A/C preferred
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Must be familiar and knowledgeable with basic hand tools
- Must have high-school diploma
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and stoop as required to perform mechanical functions of job
- Prior experience with TPE331 engines and APU preferred
Salary : $17 - $22
