Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and service commercial refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and electrical controls
- Perform maintenance and service repairs on ice machine/cooler/freezer and other refrigerated systems (Superheat/Subcooling/Delta T)
- Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls
- Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, recommended repairs, and maintenance procedures
- Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques
Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
- OSHA 10 & 30 Certification
- EPA Certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts
