Internal Events and Communications Specialist
to join our team in Boston! In this role, you’ll focus on fostering a sense of belonging, community, and engagement among our employees by designing and executing impactful events and internal communications strategies. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, driving collaboration, and ensuring that our employees feel connected to our mission and values.Responsibilities
Design, plan, and execute a variety of events to enhance employee engagement, including team-building activities, cultural celebrations, company milestones, and wellness programs.Manage all aspects of event logistics, including vendor selection, budget management, scheduling, and post-event evaluations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create inclusive and innovative event concepts that resonate with diverse employees.Execute internal communications strategy that supports our company culture and values.Craft engaging and informative content for a variety of channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and Slack.Establish feedback loops to ensure employee voices are heard and integrated into communications.Champion initiatives that promote inclusion and belonging across the organization in line with our company values.Create programs that foster community and strengthen connections between employees in remote and hybrid work environments.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee engagement, communications, and events.Minimum Requirements
5 years of experience in event planning, internal communications, or a related field.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and communications platforms like Slack, SharePoint, or similar.Experience working in the video game, tech, or entertainment industries.Knowledge of event management tools and design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.Background in hybrid or remote workplace engagement strategies.This job requires working in Boston, US.
