CD PROJEKT RED is thrilled to open a position for a skilled Senior Cinematic Designer to work at our Boston office, dedicated to Cyberpunk 2, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. Our Cinematics Team excels in developing highly interactive cinematic sequences, leveraging animation libraries and motion capture to merge the realms of film and gaming.

Daily Responsibilities
- Prototype, propose, and draft solutions for cinematic storytelling.
- Create compelling scenes with excellent pacing, acting, cinematography, editing and timing.
- Script and implement seamless, in-game sequences.
- Communicate with Designers, other departments and Leads to improve readability of visual storytelling and establish perfect continuity of the story with gameplay.
- Set up actor staging and cameras using custom and library animations.
- Work on the mocap stage with actors, help the Cinematic Director with mocap-shoot preparation.
- Completing tasks on time in high quality.
- Following and maintaining pipelines and technical requirements.
- Minimum 8 years of AAA games development experience (doing long-form projects from inception to completion).
- Deep technical knowledge and expertise in Unreal 5 / Blueprint.
- Knack for solving complex scripting issues as they relate to cinematics.
- Deep understanding of what creates great storytelling and how to use means of expression to create coherent and memorable scenes and sequences.
- Perfect understanding of acting including posing and timing.
- Experience with narrative design and interactive storytelling, using visual scripting.
- Great knowledge of cinematography and editing.
- Experience directing and/or acting.
- Experience with working with a screenplay.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Experience in using game engines: Unreal (preferably), Unity, Godot, REDkit etc.
- Quick to adapt to company proprietary software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Genuine interest in the genre.
- Experience with MotionBuilder/Maya.
- Experience working with animation
