The Role – Small Dog Attendant

• Is it your dream to hang out with small dogs? Playgroup supervision requires a firm but loving leader, a multi-tasker, and someone who is on their toes and always observant.
• Cleaning, who needs it? We do! Our team does it all, the work is never quite done; scrubbing, mopping, scooping, sweeping, power washing, and dusting. No speck of dirt is too small, it is a dirty job, but someone needs to do it.
• It is not a secret; our employees are our secret sauce. We have a diverse, high-functioning team with a family-feel culture. If you prefer not to work with a team, you must look elsewhere.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Knowledge of dog behavior, training techniques, and common medical conditions is highly preferred. This can be through formal training or experience working with a rescue group, humane society, veterinary clinic, or other pet care professional setting.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with our team, customers, and pets.
• Comfort and ability to work with animals of unknown disposition and those with medical problems.
• Allergies that are aggravated when handling or working with animals may be a disqualification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift:

• Monday-Friday
• 7am-9am, 3pm-5pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
