Restoration Crew Member

CDB Utility is hiring two positions on our Restoration Crew.  This position is responsible for clean up and site restoration after our production crews have completed work at a site.  The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping/lawn maintenance.  This is the perfect position for those that like to get their hands dirty and work outside 100% of the day.

Essential Duties: 

• Plant or maintain vegetation through activities such as mulching, fertilizing, watering, mowing or pruning. 

• Operating landscaping equipment such as Harley rake, dingo and/or lawnmowers.  

• Maintain overall landscaping around shop area and work grounds. 

• Lay sod and/or seed to project work areas post production to restore to as good as new as possible. 

• Transport equipment to and from shop to project work area. 

• Complete daily production reports to indicate work completed for which project. 

• Maintain inventory supplies of tools, equipment, or materials to ensure that sufficient supplies are available, and items are in usable condition. 

• Provide other workers with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Position Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or equivalent 

• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license and responsible driving record.  Class A CDL is preferred.

• 1 years of landscaping/lawn care experience. 

Work Conditions: 

• Exposure to varying temperatures as work is primarily outside. 

• Noise levels are moderate to heavy. 

• Work in different types of terrain including water, sand, and dirt. 

• Varying degrees of light as work may beginning early morning and continue in the evenings. 

• Travel from home overnight and/or response to emergency situations.
