Overview
The CDC Foundation is seeking an Epidemiology Data Analyst who will serve in the Arizona Department of Health Services Food and Waterborne Disease program under the Office of Infectious Disease Control. This position will be responsible for the analysis and management of Arizona’s wastewater surveillance data. In addition, this position will work closely with the wastewater surveillance epidemiologist (WWS Epi) to interpret and report on wastewater surveillance data and submit data to CDC’s National Wastewater Surveillance System (NWSS). This position may engage with local health departments and additional stakeholders to provide guidance on wastewater data as well as the analytical Methods.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors in public health or a science-related field with up to 2 years of relevant data analysis experience or a MPH / MSPH or masters in public health or a science-related field. Preference given to degrees from an accredited University and / or School of Public Health.
- Experience in Data Analysis
- Proficient in SAS, R, Python, or similar data analysis platforms
- Need to have the ability to travel to Arizona up to 10 times annually

Salary : $65,000
