Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation and maintenance of various types of piping systems. This role requires a strong understanding of utility locating, heavy equipment operation. As a Pipelayer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that pipelines are installed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain various types of piping systems, ensuring proper alignment and grade.
- Utilize utility locating techniques to identify existing underground utilities before excavation.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid Drivers license
- Have good work ethic and work well with others
- Needs to be able to get on to military bases
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and front loaders for trenching and material handling.
- Perform plumbing tasks to ensure proper connections and functionality of pipes.
- Use pipe lasers for precise installation and alignment of pipes.
- Engage in concrete forming as necessary for pipeline support structures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Conduct routine inspections of installed piping systems for leaks or other issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar construction role.
- Proficient in utility locating, heavy equipment operation, and plumbing techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow technical specifications.
- Experience with pipe lasers and concrete forming is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
