Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess three or more years of hands-on in-plant experience, whether permanent or periodic temporary assignment. A B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required. Additionally, five or more years of engineering-related experience in the oil, gas, or chemical manufacturing industry is preferred. Strong communication skills, management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software are essential. Experience with inspection management and RBI software, such as GEs APM (formerly Meridium) mechanical integrity module, is also highly desirable.
