Position Summary:
A CDI Plant Manager is responsible for effectively leading and overseeing all daily plant level operations. They ensure CDI policies, processes and procedures are followed while promoting and demonstrating CDI Core Values. They drive processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for coaching, mentoring and promoting growth in plant staff.
- Responsible for the overall financial stability and profitability of the plant.
- Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.
- Give ownership to all employees to maintain a clean and safe plant.
- Communicate CDI vision
- Responsible for plant production goals.
- Responsible for the direct labor of your plant.
- Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.
- Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
- Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping.
- Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
- Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff.
- Conduct employee performance reviews.
- Schedule and conduct plant meetings that promote a strong team environment and motivated staff.
- Responsible for the product quality control for the plant.
- Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or related plant management experience; seven to ten years minimum preferred.
- Demonstrated application of CDI, Inc. core values.
- Experience leading and directing work of others.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Outstanding leadership skills; ability to motivate, train, develop and evaluate subordinates.
- Excellent Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; capable of analyzing reports and composing written reports and communications.
