As a critical care professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assistance with procedures such as patient assessment, establishing IV access, and monitoring patients during exams. You will work collaboratively with our team of experts to ensure seamless operations within the facility and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
• Establishing IV access and administering medications as needed.
• Monitoring patients during exams and reporting any abnormalities to the supervising physician.
• Assisting with patient flow and ensuring seamless operations within the facility.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Graduate of an approved paramedic program.
3. Current NJ state licenses and certificates in good standing.
4. Radiology experience or previous assisting with stress testing is preferred.
5. Basic rhythm assessment course completion.
6. IV experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
7. Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing.
Educational Requirements
A minimum of an associate degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required for this position.
Qualifications and Skills
Additional qualifications include:
1. Ability to start IVs safely and efficiently.
2. Passing background, urine drug screen, and physical assessments.
3. Current CPR certification.
4. Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
