The Financial Analyst Internship will provide hands-on experience in financial modeling, data analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This position will work closely with experienced professionals to support decision-making processes and gain exposure to real-world financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities
Ability to obtain satisfactory results by following set procedures and standards. Ability to interact tactfully with vendors, clients and coworkers. Most of the worktime is spent at the desk. Reaching, handling, fingering, bending, and lifting are necessary when typing and filing. Near visual acuity to avoid perceptual errors when ordering and logging information. Talking and hearing is required when receiving or relaying telephone calls and/or messages. Work is inside. Lifts and/or moves approximately 10- 25 pounds. Ability to deal with stressful situations during peak workloads.

The Financial Analyst Internship will provide hands-on experience in financial modeling, data analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This position will work closely with experienced professionals to support decision-making processes and gain exposure to real-world financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Learn to clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around the business drivers behind financial data and implications on current and future results.
- Learn how to utilize financial planning and (Enterprise Resource Planning) ERP systems to perform variance analyses, build reports, and create tools to support business partners.
- Enter data into our financial planning, ERP, and other systems. Analyze data and identify trends to find new insights into the business.
- Gather and organize data of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics. Provide recommendations for process improvement backed by this data.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting to stakeholders.
- Engage in the monthly and quarter-end financial close process. Partner with Accounting to assist in a timely close.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
- Manage your project(s) while collaborating with team members for updates and questions.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint and financial software is a plus
- Solid understanding of financial statements and key metrics
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
