The Lead Driver role encompasses the responsibility of steering the direction for a team of drivers, ensuring smooth operations within the delivery sector. This position involves a blend of leadership and on-the-road expertise, as it requires overseeing the logistical aspects of deliveries while maintaining a hands-on approach to driving. By setting the standard for safety, efficiency, and professionalism, the Lead Driver plays an instrumental role in coordinating routes, managing schedules, and providing guidance to the team. What You Will Do As a Driver Loader/Installer
Driving and installing medical equipment into client sites during afternoon and evening hours. There will be some traveling out of state, so overnight stays a couple days a week are a possibility. Perform driver, site, and equipment inspections. We are looking for an energetic, reliable and dependable employee that can work independently once trained.

This position qualifies for a Driver Appreciation Program. Our program is designed to reward satisfactory job performance on a monthly and quarterly basis. There are varying amounts that increase each month within a particular quarter. Assuming satisfactory job performance, employees can expect up to an additional $3,500 per year based entirely on performance and hours worked.

Responsibilities
- Follow up/ride with new drivers on company policies, driving routes, and delivery procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Manage in coming supplies to each hub. Setting up a relationship with delivery services, checking inventory needs. Logging supplies as they come in.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance needs, scheduling repairs and servicing to minimize downtime.
- Implement a maintenance program for Transport and Infusion carts to ensure mechanically they are 100%. EX. Locks, pins, etc...
- Coordinate the logistics to adjust routes in response to traffic, weather conditions, or emergencies. Cover routes when needed.
- Inspect Transfusion cart deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Tracking and drop off of GM meters that need serviced.
- Follow up on pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. To ensure all vehicles are following safety standards and ready for operation.
- CDL License not required, but preferred.
- Must possess clean driving record and pass Non-DOT physical.
