What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Manager position at CDM Technology?
Hello- An automotive client of ours is in search of a Chief Engineer oversee their embedded, electrical, and assembly teams amongst other smaller teams.
- Expert decision maker in the Electric Vehicle and / or automobile space
- Milestone achiever working in a start up
- Tangible, explainable experience moving teams (likely at least 20 people) that were caught in ruts and moving them in the right direction
- This need gives them the ability to go our and prove to financiers in terms of raising more capital
- There’s an equity play for the person, assuming they take a full time job.
- There’s a sense of “total autonomy”, however the reinvention of the wheel isn’t necessary…their hands will be full managing the “people skills” aspect of the three department heads. projects done by managing people and having the right background / history of overseeing vehicles getting built in a timely manner / deadline situation.
- There’s a need in the organization for a strong sense of accountability.
