Job Description
CDM Technology is looking for an intern on the social media and marketing front. If you are a savvy content creator with Linked In TikTok, IG, and want to learn how to apply those skills towards our long standing, San Diego based, boutique IT Recruiting Firm—we want to hear from you.
If you are looking for college credit and available for 5-7 hours a week (Paid) to start around the beginning of April, we’re more than happy to discuss.
If you’re looking to supplement income for an already established career, we’re more than happy to discuss.
We’re looking for someone who has tons of ideas of how to expand our social presence and has a portfolio of content to share. This would include research into who makes a good client of ours, and also who makes a good candidate for our clients.
We’re looking for new and creative ideas to go after the types of people our clients are asking us to help them find. At the end of the day, our business is pretty simple: We get asked to find our clients the Technical resources they otherwise can’t find themselves (think software developers, Quality Assurance Engineers, or other intricate IT professionals). We can advertise all day on job platforms like Linked In or Zip Recruiter…but lately, those platforms are becoming saturated with candidates that just are not skilled enough to reach the level of candidate we want/need. We know there are other ways to reach these folks via social media platforms and we want your help in doing so!
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, an established content portfolio you can show us, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to conduct thorough research
- Knowledge of advertising techniques on various platforms will be beneficial
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights
- Proficiency in Apple Final Cut Pro & Cap Cut is a MUST.
- Proficiency in creating, editing 3-4 video clips/posts a week and turning them into savvy social media marketing type posts.
- A passion for social media trends, creativity, and innovation in digital communication is essential
