Concrete Finisher

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on various projects. The Concrete Finisher will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties

· Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete.

· Pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and heavy equipment.

· Finish surfaces of poured concrete by smoothing, leveling, and polishing.

· Apply caulking and sealants as needed to ensure durability and weather resistance.

· Use hand tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds to achieve desired surface texture.

· Collaborate with team members on project specifications and timelines.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

· Perform minor repairs on concrete surfaces as necessary.

Skills

· Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction processes.

· Experience in power trowel operation.

· Operation of concrete saw and timing.

· Skilled in caulking applications for sealing joints effectively.

· Competence in using hand tools essential for concrete finishing tasks.

· Knowledge of forming for integrating finishes seamlessly.

· Familiarity with concrete mixer for placing mixtures accurately.

· Ability to understand slopes and elevations for desired finish.

· Drivers license is preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
